Led Zeppelin tribute band at Theatr Gwynedd

DESPITE disbanding in 1980, 70s rock legends Led Zeppelin are as popular today as they were in their heyday 30 years ago.

When it was announced they were going to do a "one- off" charity show at the O2 arena in London in December 2007, it caused chaos on the internet as 20 million people tried applying for the 18,000 available tickets.

While there were millions of disappointed people at the time, the next best thing will be on offer at Theatr Gwynedd this week as tribute band Whole Lotta Led who are widely regarded as one of the finest in the UK, will be performing on Friday, September 5, at 8pm.

From humble beginnings 12 years ago the band have progressed to playing major venues throughout the country, some of which Zeppelin themselves actually played.

The band started their latest themed tour entitled The O2 Set at the beginning of July to celebrate the special night at the O2 arena last year, when Led Zeppelin put on a stunning show, and will be performing exactly the same set.

The band line-up with Nick Ferris on guitar, Geoff Hunt on bass, Graham Twist on drums and Lee Addison on vocals and harmonica.

Given the thumbs-up by no less a guitar god than Jimmy Page himself, Whole Lotta Led are THE Led Zeppelin tribute band.
