Outdoor art session for kids at Glynllifon

PARC Glynllifon will be hosting a master class with artist Tim Pugh for Criw Celf on Saturday, August 9 from 11am to 4pm.

Children involved will have the chance to work in the outdoors with Tim Pugh, who said: "I make art from found materials in a variety of outdoor habitats including beaches, woodlands and riversides.

"Working in the environment, I use the beautiful colours and textures that can be found in the natural world."

The Criw Celf is a new art club for children who have shown exceptional artistic talent, and the scheme is funded by Gwynedd Council and the Wales Art Council.

The aim of the scheme is to support talented young artists who wish to develop their skills.

This year, artists Eleri Jones, Luned Rhys Parri and Tim Pugh will be responsible for the tutoring.

Over the summer, the Art Club will also visit Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw in the company of Luned Rhys Parri.
