Harpist Catrin Finch at Ucheldre Centre, Holyhead
A CELEBRATED harpist will be performing in concert at Holyhead.
Catrin Finch, the first Royal Harpist to the Prince of Wales, has explored most of the repertoire for the harp and embraced many opportunities to extend the range of the instrument.
In 2005, Catrin began to work on her own transcription for the harp of Bach’s Goldberg Variations.
She will be performing that work at the Ucheldre Centre, in Holyhead, on Friday, February 13, at 7.30pm.
Her tour will coincide with the launch of a new album of the work on Deutsche Grammophon.
