A MAN was airlifted to hospital after a jetski crashed in the sea near Porthmadog on Sunday.
Paramedics and an inshore lifeboat were alerted after a 999 call just after 1pm.
A Criccieth RNLI spokesperson said: "It was reported that two jetskis had collided and one man was injured.
"The boat was launched but by the time the crew got to the scene the injured man had been brought ashore."
The North Wales air ambulance was called and the helicopter landed on Black Rock sands to airlifted the man to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor.
