Porthmadog house almost destroyed in fire

A HOUSE on Morfa Bychan Road in Porthmadog was gutted and its roof completely destroyed last night (Thursday) when it caught fire.
Firefighters from Porthmadog, Harlech, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Pwllheli and Caernarfon attended the blaze in a detached, single storey building at 9.33pm. Noone was in the property at the time.
The cause of the fire is now under investiagation.
