‘No’ to store

I DO not welcome the proposed new Tesco and think the people of Caernarfon should say enough is enough.

Small businesses in the town provide a service to the community. The saying “use us or lose us” has never been more true. In the midst of the current economic downturn, small businesses in Caernarfon are having their lifeblood sucked out.

None of the current conditions is the fault of small businesses, but it makes them feel a failure. Even though we all have to use the supermarkets, not all can get to them.

No doubt the council will welcome the new Tesco, but the people of Caernarfon deserve better.
