Plaid Cymru MPs cannot escape blame in expenses row
LAST Friday in Waunfawr, Plaid Cymru leader Ieuan Wyn Jones tried to distance his Party from the expenses row in Westminster.
However, his three Plaid MPs must share with all other MPs responsibility for the allowances system which has allowed some Members of Parliament to seem greedy and out of touch with the lives of ordinary people.
Your paper has quite rightly highlighted the expenses claim of Caernarfon Plaid MP, Hywel Williams, who has taken full advantage of the Additional Costs Allowance and other expenses.
Plaid Cymru can’t now wash their hands of the situation and pretend it has nothing to do with them.
